Hi, I’m Alan

I’m a graphic designer with experience in packaging design, art direction, web design, photo retouching, and print production. Currently I’m focusing on growing my skills in user experience and digital product design and am looking for professional opportunities in those areas.

I originally went to school for environmental and architectural design but fell into graphic design largely because I knew how to run a laser cutter. (Seriously.) I’ve been building on the foundation of design thinking and problem-solving skills that this background drilled into me ever since, successfully solving a variety of real-world design problems and constantly pushing myself to take on new and different creative challenges.

I’m one of the rare Coloradans who’s lived here my whole life, give-or-take. (No “Native” bumper sticker on my car though.) Being in the mountains recharges me, and outside of work you’ll find me skiing, hiking, backpacking, traveling, and trying any new craft beer I can find.
