Consumer marketing content for the Nite Ize family of Gear Tie products, explaining the differences and advantages of different styles of Gear Ties in a quick and easily digestible format.

This landing page was designed to quickly educate visitors about Gear Ties—how they work, their advantages over other tie-down and organization products, their different styles and sizes—and help them make a more informed purchase that best fit their intended use for the product. Time and resource constraints meant that all of the images on the page were repurposed from the existing product asset pool and required rethinking for how to be utilized most effectively.
Repurposing static images into animated gifs enabled us to quickly tell the main product story (“Twist It/Tie It/Reuse It”) and the story of the many different sizes without overwhelming visitors. Finally, we worked with our copywriter to create pared-down descriptions of each of the styles for a near-instant read.
AMAZON A+ CONTENT


After its completion, the content from the landing page was modified to appear on Amazon Gear Tie product pages as “A+” content while telling slightly different stories. In this context, the main story is about each different style of Gear Tie and the secondary story is the Gear Tie brand overall. Repurposing the content required meeting additional Amazon constraints of a limited number of images and no animation. We also had to further pare down the messaging, dropping some content and converting select animations into static images, but were able to replace some of the original landing page content by adding a standardized Amazon comparison chart.
